This year marks the Third Annual Ultimate Zydeco Throwdown. Last year, over a thousand people danced the night away to the best in Zydeco and this year promises to be even better. Our event takes place in the indoor Yambille Building in Opelousas, Louisiana. We promise a climate-controlled safe environment, with a large dance area, comfortable seating, and a refreshments area.

Our lineup this year features a mix of audience favorites from the last two Throwdowns, along with some of teh hottest bands in zydeco. Get acquainted with the bands, and make plans to come on out. Hope to see you out there!!!

	Cedryl Ball and the Zydeco Trendsetters Cedryl Ballou can truly state that he has zydeco in his blood. The grandson of the late Rockin' Sidney and the much acclaimed Classie Ballou, Cedryl has been earning his stripes on the zydeco circuit. With several CDs under his belt, he has proven himself to be one to watch.
	Zydeco Force Zydeco Force has done everything there is to do in Zydeco music. They have performed in festivals and venues large and small, always giving their all. The band is often accompanied by young accordion prodigy, Guyland Leday. Don't Miss Them.
	Zydeco Joe 'Zydeco' Joe Mouton is a crowd favorite while at the same time being one of zydeco's more reclusive stars. Rarely makign appearances outside of Louisiana and Texas, he is making a appearance at the Throwdown to give the crowd some of his traditional Zydeco, sung in Creole French.
	Dora and the Zydeco Badboyz Dora and the Zydeco Badboyz have been burning up the festival circuit with their high-energy, up-tempo zydeco. Based out of Houston, they have put the zydeco world on notice that they are a band that is on the rise and set on making it to the top.
	Brian Jack and the Zydeco Gamblers Brian Jack and the Zydeco Gamblers have been paying their dues on the Houston Zydeco scene and are now one of the hottest bands from Texas. The band has been touring both the East and West Coast in recents months, and are ready to show they are ready for the spotlight.
	Keith Frank and the Soileau Zydeco Band This band has proven itself to be the hottest and most popular band in zydeco music, both on the festival circuit and in the zydeco hotbed of SW Louisiana and SE Texas. Their nonstop, high energy shows are definite crowd pleasers and their appearance at the Throwdown promises to be no different.

This once again promises to be the Zydeco Party of the Year!!! Come early and stay late, and we promise to party all night long. See you There!!!
